Waylon Runyan

Hi, my name is Waylon Runyan. I have been in 4-H since I was a Cloverbud, but this is my first year that I can actually auction a chicken even though it’s virtual and compete as a novice. I have owned chickens ever since I can remember and have always loved raising them from chicks! This year, I have chosen to auction two chickens out of our flock. I kind of wonder if they might be some of our better chickens! I let my friends little sister name one of my chicks and she went with unicorn….seriously, unicorn? That might be the worst name ever! Maybe I should call her corny, but that’s still bad. Even though the name might be bad, these two hens, one which is a Welsummer and the other a Wyandotte are both really friendly and great layers!
